Glass Upstands for Kitchens and Bathrooms

Glass upstands are a fantastic way to bring a touch of colour and style to any Kitchen or Bathroom. Available in any colour they are an inexpensive and practical solution to protect painted walls whilst injecting a splash of colour.

Lux Glass upstands usually run just below sockets to avoid the need for cut outs at around 150mm (6 inches) tall although they can be made to any height and length (max 3000mm).

Coloured glass upstands are toughened as standard which is essential in areas exposed to high temperatures (around the hob/cooker). If preferred glass upstands can be supplied un-toughened for competent DIY'ers so that they can be cut to length whilst fitting (please specify when asking for a quote/placing an order). Minimum order per piece 0.25m2 applies.

As well as a choice of thousands of colours glass upstands can also be produced with the added option of coloured sparkle e.g. Black upstand with Gold Sparkle, Red upstand with Silver sparkle, Purple upstand with purple sparkle etc. Please see our colour page for more information.

Lux Glass Upstands are manufactured with 6mm thick Ultra-Clear Glass due to its low-iron content which ensures optimum clarity for precise colour matching and light reflective properties. We use 6mm heat-resistant, toughened, safety glass conforming to BS EN 12150 as standard.
